Also, she was slated for 2 bags of blood this morning, but when they looked at the results of her blood tests, her hematocrit went UP a little bit, which could mean her marrow might be starting to have a little more function on that end as well. She did receive 1 bag (18 total) and they cancelled the second bag of blood for now.
I don't think are are anymore tests to be done today, though they may start feeding her through a tube. It is a delicate ballet these doctors and nurses are dancing, and any sudden change in any of the variables could cause an unintended setback.
So far that hasn't happened, and I have all the confidence it will not. Her doctor assured me once again this morning "she will get through this".
