Biopsy results back-GVHD confirmed

As suspected, the biopsy indicated GVHD, which is a good thing as I have mentioned before, as a little bit of it prevents a full blown attack on the body, and also greatly reduces any chance of relapse.

She will be started on a drug called Tacrolimus, which you can read about here. She will have 2 doses today, and 2 doses tomorrow, and then they will do some extensive blood analysis late Thursday/early Friday to determine some measure of the levels in her body, and adjust up or down as required.

Factoid: The cubicle did not get it's name from its "cube" shape, (a cube has six sides). It is from the Latin "cubiculum" meaning bed chamber.
