Also, Adam, Tayler, Piper and Sarah sent 3 huge wall posters (right) yesterday to decorate the room. I have tried to take a picture with the phone, and as you can see, I was a little shaky. However, the posters are awesome and of high quality, and many of you should recognize yourselves despite my bad camera phone picture taking ability.
I know it took a long time to not only select the pictures, but to also lay them out. Thank you so very much, and Denise will awake every time the nurses come in the room and see such wonderful memories.
Now, it turns out the platelets that were doled out (in?) last night were bad...not really bad, but they were not a perfect match and so they didn't work. Denise has to be extremely careful with bumps and bruises for the next 12-24 hours or so, until they can find some platelets that match perfectly. The plan is to do another transfusion of at least 1 bag of platelets later this evening.
Factoid: 80 years ago today Charles Lindbergh's son was kidnapped. General Norman Schwarzkopf's father led the investigation for the New Jersey State Police.
