Awake and ready for a day of rest

As you can imagine, yesterday was a long day, filled with surprises, anticipation and suspense. Nonetheless, the evening brought an uneventful night of sleep and the patient feels pretty good.

We don't expect much to happen today except drawing of blood samples, which will happen every single day for the next 4 weeks or so. In addition to monitoring her blood counts, they will also be looking at liver, kidney and lung function.

Friday the chemo starts anew with a dose Friday morning, and another on Saturday morning. Then we are finished with all chemo!

So, if any new development arises, I will be sure to let you know.
