I went back to the Doctor's office today as instructed and received another 30 minute IV for my site infection. The nurse said my leg looked good, but wanted to do another IV and then 7 days of the same antibiotic orally. I was glad to get the IV out of my arm, as it was really making me nervous. I have picked up the prescription and will begin taking the antibiotics tomorrow. I forgot to mention yesterday that I also have gained 1 1/2 lbs. which is also good. I am hoping I can maintain it. Hopefully this will be it until my next visit with the nurse next Thursday.
